November 2026 Tax Deadline Calendar

November 2026 is an important month for taxpayers, business owners, employers and tax professionals in India. Several compliance deadlines fall during the month, covering TDS and TCS payments, tax certificates, income tax return filing and GST returns. Missing these deadlines can lead to interest, late fees, penalties or unnecessary compliance complications, depending on the applicable provisions. From the November 7 TDS payment deadline to the extended ITR filing date of November 21 and the November 30 transfer pricing deadline, taxpayers need to keep their records and documents organised.

IMPORTANT DATES

1. November 7: TDS and TCS Payment Deadline

One of the first major deadlines falls on November 7, 2026. Businesses and other applicable deductors must deposit the Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) amounts collected or deducted during October with the government. TDS generally applies when tax is deducted while making specified payments, such as salary, professional fees, rent or contractual payments. TCS applies to specified transactions where tax is collected from the buyer. The month also includes Form 127-related compliance for declarations received during October. These declarations are relevant to specified transactions where a buyer seeks non-collection of TCS, subject to applicable conditions. Businesses should reconcile their payment records, deductions and collections before completing the required deposits and filings.

2. November 14–15: Important TDS and TCS Certificates

The middle of November brings another set of compliance requirements for tax deductors and collectors. November 14 – Form 132 Applicable deductors must issue Form 132 for specified TDS transactions involving deductions made during September 2026. November 15 – Forms 131 and 133 • Form 131: TDS certificate for specified non-salary payments for the July–September 2026 quarter. • Form 133: TCS certificate for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. These certificates help recipients verify the tax deducted or collected against their transactions. Businesses should ensure that the information in their records matches the details reported through the applicable tax systems.

3. November 21: Extended ITR Filing Deadline for Audit Cases

November 21, 2026, is an important date for taxpayers whose accounts fall under specified audit requirements. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) extended the applicable ITR filing deadline for Assessment Year 2026–27 from October 31 to November 21, 2026, for the covered categories. This deadline is relevant to eligible companies, businesses and other taxpayers required to get their accounts audited under the applicable provisions. Taxpayers should ensure that their financial statements, audit-related information and supporting documents are ready before filing.

4. November 30: Transfer Pricing ITR Deadline

The final major income tax deadline highlighted for November is November 30, 2026. This date applies to taxpayers covered by transfer pricing provisions, including those required to report specified international or domestic transactions under Section 92E. Businesses involved in transactions with associated enterprises should ensure that their transfer pricing documentation, reports and income tax return details are properly prepared. Transfer pricing compliance can involve detailed financial information, transaction records and supporting documentation. Early preparation can help reduce last-minute filing pressure

5. GST Deadlines Businesses Should Also Remember

Apart from income tax, businesses registered under GST have important return and payment dates during November. November 11 – GSTR-1 Monthly GST taxpayers must file GSTR-1 for outward supplies made during October 2026. The return contains details of sales and other outward supplies. November 20 – GSTR-3B Monthly filers must submit GSTR-3B for October 2026 and pay the applicable tax liability. November 25 – PMT-06 Eligible taxpayers registered under the Quarterly Return Monthly Payment (QRMP) scheme must make the applicable monthly tax payment through Form PMT-06 for October. Businesses should reconcile sales invoices, purchase records, tax liabilities and payment details before completing their GST compliances.

Why Tax Compliance Requires Better Financial Organisation

For many growing businesses, tax compliance is not difficult only because of the rules. The challenge often begins much earlier: information is scattered across spreadsheets, invoices, emails, WhatsApp conversations and different departments. Finance teams may be waiting for payment details, HR may be maintaining payroll information separately, and business owners may not have a clear picture of pending expenses or collections. When financial information is disconnected, preparing for tax deadlines can become a time-consuming process. A more organised approach can help businesses: • Maintain clearer records of income, expenses and payments. • Track pending customer collections and vendor payments. • Coordinate finance and HR-related information. • Keep important business updates accessible to the relevant teams. • Review financial information before important compliance dates.

Businesses Build Better Financial Visibility

Managing tax-related responsibilities starts with having organised business information. Mingrow, an AI Business OS, brings finance, CRM, leads, HR, field staff and WhatsApp coordination together in one connected platform. Instead of depending entirely on scattered spreadsheets and disconnected conversations, businesses can use a more connected system to manage their daily operations and improve visibility across different functions. For example, finance teams can work with better visibility into business payments and financial information, while managers can coordinate with teams and keep track of operational updates. Mingrow is designed to help growing businesses bring their everyday workflows together, making it easier to stay organised as operations become more complex. It does not replace professional tax advice or statutory filing services. Rather, it supports the broader operational organisation that businesses need alongside their formal accounting and compliance processes.

The Bigger Picture: Compliance Is Also About Business Discipline

November's tax calendar is a reminder that running a business involves more than generating revenue and acquiring customers. Maintaining financial records, tracking payments and coordinating internal teams are equally important. Whether it is a TDS deposit, an ITR filing or a GST return, timely compliance depends on accurate information and preparation. Businesses that build organised financial processes throughout the year are better positioned to handle deadlines without unnecessary last-minute pressure.

“Good financial management is not just about knowing what a business earns. It is also about knowing what it owes, what is pending and what needs attention.”
